Andy Zhu is a Gen Z Real Estate Developer, Broker, and Affordable Housing Advocate focused on creating purpose-built spaces to provide accessible, safe, and healthy homes. His life mission is to provide opportunities of economic empowerment for all people no matter their background.
As the cofounder of Nashville Housing Intelligence, Andy uses 6 years of brokerage experience and in-depth data analysis in on precise valuations for single family homes. Apart from his brokerage role, AAndy is currently the Principal of
MFX Ventures - an independent real estate finance and consulting firm that assists developers, investors, and lenders understand the feasibility of any deal, having modeled over 500M+ of deal flow for his clients. Additionally, Andy has amassed a following of over 100,000 on TikTok who listen to his thoughts about markets and the future of investing (@genzrebuilds). He also has been a featured speaker on the CREative Talks Real Estate Podcast, Microlife Institute's annual Tiny Home Festival, Conservice's Inaugural Single Family Home Conference as well as several appearances on the IMN conference circuit. He graduated Vanderbilt Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2020 with degrees in Political Science and Medicine, Health, and Society, and is one of the proud remaining Nashville natives.
When he's not talking business or real estate, you can find Andy playing (amateur) guitar and piano, dancing salsa, or brewing his homemade mead. He serves as a member of the Metro Nashville Homelessness Planning Council's Performance Evaluation Committee that distributes annual 20M+ in HUD funding for homeless prevention services.. He also serves on leadership roles for several committees on the Urban Land Institute.
